  Complete Hearing Health Care is included with all new purchases and consists of:
  
       Quarterly cleanings and adjustments
       Yearly audiometric evaluations
       Yearly hearing aid evaluations
       First year loss & damage insurance
       First year warranty (2 years on some models)
       Repair & loss / damage replacement renewal option
       Batteries provided for the life of the hearing aids
   

• Audiological Evaluations
  At Cedar Rapids Hearing Center, a comprehensive hearing evaluation will be administered by a Doctor of Audiology.  Audiologists are the only health professionals with extensive training on the anatomy and physiology of the ear and hearing, and are the only health professionals certified to perform diagnostic hearing tests.  A complete hearing evaluation begins by finding the softest sounds a person can hear across the range of speech frequencies.  After these thresholds have been determined, testing for speech reception thresholds (the ability to repeat very soft speech), speech discrimination ability (the ability to understand speech presented at a comfortable listening level), and uncomfortable listening levels are performed.  A referral to a physician will be made for any results that indicate medical and/or surgical intervention may be beneficial.
   

• Hearing Aid Sales & Service
  Cedar Rapids Hearing Center offers a wide variety of hearing instruments featuring the latest technology.  We also service and repair all makes and models of hearing instruments from any hearing aid manufacturer.  Our staff emphasizes ongoing cleaning and maintenance after a hearing aid purchase to insure optimum performance and benefit from hearing aids.  Under our Complete Hearing Healthcare Program, we encourage all of our patients to come in for a regular hearing aid evaluation and cleaning at no charge.  We also provide batteries for the life of any hearing aids purchased here.
   

• Assistive Devices
  Assistive listening devices are available.  These devices include TV listening devices, telephone amplifiers, alarm clocks and warning devices.  Our patient care coordinator will discuss appropriate options with you before you place an order.
   

• Hearing Aid Accessories
  Cedar Rapids Hearing Center carries custom earmolds used for hearing aids, noise protection and swimmer's plugs.  We also carry battery testers, Dry & Store hearing aid conditioning systems, ear gear/Super Seals, and many other items to help maintain the optimum performance of hearing aids.
